Psalm 18:22

http://www.dailybiblestudy.org

22 For all his judgments [mishpat] were before me, and I did not put away [cuwr] his statutes [chuqqah] from me. KJV-Interlinear

22 For all His ordinances were before me, And I did not put away His statutes from me. NASB

Judgments are those things that God has determined to be right and just and truth. This refers to all of Gods commands, mandates, principles, statutes, laws, ordinances, and so forth. In other words, the content of the scriptures, Bible doctrine, which is the sum total of Gods instruction.

Statutes, again is a reference to Gods guidelines for life.

One has to learn Gods doctrine in order to know His guidelines. If you do not learn something, then you cannot know it.

Once you know something, then you have to decide to believe it.

Once you believe in something then you have to decide to adopt it into your pattern of living.

And all of these check points are different places that people can fail in their spiritual life. Most folks know many of the fundamental principles of Christianity, but too, many folks modify many of the fundamental principles of Christianity and change them into something more to their own liking.

So, keeping Gods instruction and living by Gods spiritual guidelines is nearly impossible because far too many folks change things that they have learned, along the way. They either do not learn, or of what they learn, they modify or compromise so that is better fits the way they want their life to be, regardless of the inaccuracy of their beliefs.

The mature believer, knows Gods instruction, and lives by it to the very best of their ability. Certainly they make mistakes, but they correct them and move on, and the overall pattern of their life rules, rather than the slip up that occasionally occurs.

No one has the right to judge them, and they do not judge others. God will apply all of the facts to each individual and reach His final decision as to the nature of each persons life.

But suffice to say, the mature believer's life is defined by doctrine. Doctrine is not defined by the person.

Only those who legitimately abide by Gods word, in all things, including your responsibilities in life, will receive Gods attention and blessing.

Those who play the spiritual games of pretense and public show, will not.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
