Begin study:

‘Yahovah,’ is the personal name of the second person of the Trinity. ‘Elohiym,’ is the plural reference to all three members of the Trinity. And we know that the Son is the second person of the Trinity, while the Father and Spirit are the first and third persons of the trinity, respectively.

The Son, is the member of the Godhead, that executes judgment and blessing, whichever is appropriate.

And so David cries out, ‘if I have done this thing.’ The thing is some ambiguous evil which has been charged against one of Gods chosen, a believer in the Son, whom we know as Jesus Christ. Therefore David being a believer pleads with God, because of some false accusation having been made against him.

The false accusation is not mentioned, but that is combined with the name of a person, Cush, who too is not identified.

And so this makes a pattern of one member of the world, namely someone who is unidentified, and outside of the family of God, making an accusation against a member of Gods family.

However, we know that Christ went to the Cross and paid the price for all sin, therefore there is no further judgment to those who believe in Christ.

The world however, makes a big deal about the behavior or people, demanding more and more judgment against those for whom judgment has already been completed.

God paid the price, and that allows God to be forgiving. The world on the other hand, is neither forgiving nor merciful, nor does it ever accept any payment as complete for any wrong done. People are generally unforgiving, and even worse, they are gossips and maligners, and resentful against those who they believe to be beneath their standards.

But this psalm begins to address another principle, and that is that sin is wrong and therefore, sin deserves punishment. But sin is not limited to ones actions, but extends to thoughts and even to the commitment or lack of commitment to the realities of Gods justice already applied.

To reject Gods justice (work on the cross), is the one unforgivable sin, which is unbelief. Now unbelief is not technically a sin, but simply a rejection of Gods part in history, thus implying that man can do something better than what God has done. And of course man cannot do anything better. Man cannot give to himself eternal life, or a resurrection body, or anything that is eternal or indestructible.

By the accusation against David, the accuser implies that David has done something that has broken the accusers peace, that David has taken something from him which David did not deserve nor have a right to have.

And this in turn defines the truth about all who commit sins and evils. The accuser is accusing David of the very things that the accuser himself is guilty.

And by rejecting God and being outside of Gods family, then the accuser, is in fact the evil one, the guilty one, the one who demands and takes from the world, that which God created for the exclusive use of believers only, but has been hijacked by unbelievers.

Adam started out history by being the sole owner. Satan came along, deceived and stole that which Adam had, and so evil has perpetuated that wrong throughout history. A wrong that will not be corrected until the final events of the Millennium, the destruction of this universe, and the creation of the next universe.

The use of the ambiguous terms indicates that evil has no specific accusation that can stand against believers, but evil is in fact guilty of everything it accuses against others.

And so, we come to the end of another year. The world will level accusations ambiguously against you, and that means burdens of all types will exist in your life. From your physical ailments or limitations, even to your limited lifespan, to social, economic, or whatever burdens that you might have, then all of these things are due to the existence of sin and evil in the world.

God created good for good, and did not create evil. But God gives you the opportunity to find a way through this life, regardless of the handicaps that life tries to place on everyone. And that opportunity begins with your daily attention to learning His will, and His purpose for you.

From the day you were born, a story began for your life. As you live your life, you write your own story. The question is, will your story be a good one, or just more historical filler adding up to a huge nothing.

How old are you today, ten, twenty, forty, eighty? Where have all those years gone, and what have you accomplished in Gods eyes? Have you filled up your years with worldly emptiness and spiritual neglect, or have you been faithful and filled up your soul with doctrine and the ultimate meaning and purpose which God designed specifically for you?

Today one year ends and another one begins. You can use this to your advantage and begin or renew your own personal story, and perhaps end up in heaven with one of the greatest stories ever. But then that depends on you and your commitment to truth.

This Bible study has been online for over twenty years now, and of course has existed on a very limited basis prior to the prevalence of the internet before that. Through the grace of God, and through the commitment of many who have been faithful to the study throughout those years, the study continues.

From my family to yours, we thank you genuinely, and wish you the very best of years to come.

Study to show yourself mature (spiritually mature), a workman that need not be ashamed (by possessing spiritual attributes), rightly dividing (study) and discerning (application) the Word of Truth.

Stop worrying about anything, but in everything in prayer, humility and thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. For the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall garrison your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. And now to Him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you without blemish before the presence of His glory, with exceeding joy. To the only wise God, even Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom belongs glory and majesty, dominion and power, before time, now and forever. For of Him and to Him and through Him are all things. Amen (believe it, for it is so).

End of study

Study [by instruction],

to show thyself approved [spiritually mature]

unto God,

a workman [student]

that need not be ashamed [ignorant],

rightly dividing [learning, understanding, discerning]

the word of truth [Bible doctrine].

If you can dream and not make dreams your master,

If you can think and not let thoughts narrow your views,

If you can meet triumph with disaster equally,

If you can learn and see your full meaning and purpose in life,

Then you can believe in Christ, learn Bible doctrine, and grow far beyond the potential that God has prepared for you.

These studies are a part of the massive daily study web site at DailyBibeStudy.Org, and are written, so that you can come to Christ if you have not done so already, and therefore not be lost forever.

And if you have already believed in Christ, then these studies are written so you can learn and understand and grow in your spiritual life, so that you can come to the full knowledge of Christ, so that you can fulfill your meaning and purpose in life as God intended for you, and so you can qualify for a phenomenal eternal reward which you will have forever.

To ignore this opportunity to pursue a daily study means you will be incomplete, unfulfilled and you will lose out, big time.

The Daily Bible Study is online, making it possible as never before in all of human history, to advance in ones relationship with God, through Christ, and to complete yourself beyond your imagination.

But each person has to decide to make that commitment. No one else can study for you. You have to do that yourself.

Keep in the Word, Isa. 41:10.
