Romans 7:4

Death to Sin Opens Way to Life with Christ

http://www.dailybiblestudy.org

4 Wherefore [hoste], my [mou] brethren [adelphos], ye [humeis] also [kai] are become dead [thanatoo] to the law [nomos] by [dia] the body [soma] of Christ [Christos]; that [eis] ye [humas] should be married [ginomai] to another [heteros], even to him who is raised [egeiro] from [ek] the dead [nekros], that [hina] we should bring forth fruit [karpophoreo] unto God [theos].   KJV-Interlinear

4 Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God.  ESV

Therefore, since we have died to the law, because of our association with Christ in his death, by means of our faith, then we no longer belong to, and are no longer under the rule of the Mosaic law.

Without Christ, we were married to, and slaves of the Mosaic law, which had only one result for us, which was eternal condemnation and slavery.

But, by means of Christ’s death, and our faith, we not only died, and thereby dissolved our relationship with the law and with sin, but we were raised up again, just as Christ was raised up, to a new life, and to a new marriage.

That marriage of course is to Christ, by means of His grace, and by means of our choice, through faith.

And of course one of the products of our relationship with Christ, is the opportunity to bear new fruit, which is the production of the spiritual life, which is of intrinsic value, which lasts forever.

Under the old marriage, we had nothing.

Under the new marriage, we have everything, and potentially a lot more. That potential, depends on your pursuit of your spiritual life, through spiritual growth, by means of learning Bible doctrine on a daily basis.

These studies are a part of the massive daily study web site at DailyBibeStudy.Org, and are written, so that you can come to Christ if you have not done so already, and therefore not be lost forever.

And if you have already believed in Christ, then these studies are written so you can learn and understand and grow in your spiritual life, so that you can come to the full knowledge of Christ, so that you can fulfill your meaning and purpose in life as God intended for you, and so you can qualify for a phenomenal eternal reward which you will have forever.

To ignore this opportunity to pursue a daily study means you will be incomplete, unfulfilled and you will lose out, big time.

The Daily Bible Study is online, making it possible as never before in all of human history, to advance in ones relationship with God, through Christ, and to complete yourself beyond your imagination.

But each person has to decide to make that commitment. No one else can study for you. You have to do that yourself.

Keep in the Word, Isa. 41:10.
