[ruwq] also the spear [chaniyth],

me: say ['amar] unto my soul [nephesh], I am thy salvation [y@shuw`ah]. KJV-Interlinear
3 Draw the
spear and javelin against my pursuers! Say to my soul, “I am your salvation!” ESV
The whole plan of salvation portrays a picture of God, not only in defense of the individual believer, but God on the offensive in behalf of the individual believer.
Drawing out the spear or javelin or sword, are actions of attack.
And stop the way against them, is a phrase that means to close the gate, to shut out, to seal off. And it is those who would bring harm to the believer, that are kept at bay and shut off from having any success in their attack against the believer, as a believer.
This is the security of God, and Gods protection of the Christian, from all evil in all of its forms.
I am your salvation, is Gods promise. And Gods protection is the fulfillment of that promise.
There is no other salvation, none from any other source, none from any possibility, none that can be invented or accomplished by man or any other created being, or anything living or otherwise.
God and God alone provides salvation. He does that through Christ and the Cross.
God and God alone protects salvation. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is the sign and seal of that promise.
God and God alone sustains salvation. Bible doctrine is the source of the knowledge of that promise.
Salvation is certain and secure for the individual who has believed in the Son, who is Jesus Christ.
