You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

thus saith ['amar] the Lord ['Adonay] GOD [Y@hovih], the Holy One [qadowsh] of

God always gives you the opportunity to change your ways from bad ways, back to His ways, in order to avoid trouble that is coming. But you have to repent, which means change your mind or change your ways.
And the ways that you are pursuing, which are not God’s ways, need to be changed by you.
Gods ways are very simple to understand and follow.
Gods ways only apply to believers in Christ. With respect to unbelievers, the beginning of God’s ways, starts with faith in Christ for salvation.
With respect to believers, who are called Christians, God’s ways include confession which places the believer in fellowship, a daily Bible study wherein the believer learns Gods ways in more detail, application of learned doctrine to ones daily life, and the repetition of that process every day throughout ones life in order to grow up to spiritual maturity.
Learning Bible doctrine and advancing to spiritual maturity, is referred to as, returning and rest, within this verse. Gods rest results from the maximum doctrine taken into ones soul, namely achieving spiritual maturity.
Quietness and trust, are terms that indicate spiritual growth and the relaxed mental attitude resulting from the growth, and the development of faith which results in one’s confidence and trust in God.
The phrase, shall be saved, is not referring to salvation because this verse is directed to believers who are already saved. This reference is for the avoidance of certain disciplinary or judgment action taken by God against the disobedient believers.
And you would not, refers to the refusal of those being addressed by this verse, to change their ways.
All too often, Christians get distracted with wrong ideas. And with that distraction they veer off into patterns of life that are not Gods will. And when that happens, trouble is just around the corner.
Before trouble comes, every person heading down the wrong path, has the opportunity to change their way, and to get back on track.
But, and more often than not, believers dig in their heels with regard to their wrong attitude or their own beliefs, and refuse to change their ways or even consider the possibility that their ways are wrong.
When you are headed down the wrong path, and refuse to change, then trouble is certain.
When you are headed down the wrong path, and decide to change, then trouble insofar as punishment or discipline or judgment against you, can be avoided.
This does not mean that you can avoid all trouble in the world simply by getting right with God. This is the Devils world, and trouble is a part of the world because of that.
But what this does mean is that any punishment or discipline against you for your wrongdoing can be mitigated or reduced or avoided entirely, if you get back on track.
Other troubles from the world will come and go, and they will all serve to build your character and advance you in your spiritual life.
These studies are a part of the massive daily study web site at DailyBibeStudy.Org, and are written, so that you can come to Christ if you have not done so already, and therefore not be lost forever.
And if you have already believed in Christ, then these studies are written so you can learn and understand and grow in your spiritual life, so that you can come to the full knowledge of Christ, so that you can fulfill your meaning and purpose in life as God intended for you, and so you can qualify for a phenomenal eternal reward which you will have forever.
To ignore this opportunity to pursue a daily study means you will be incomplete, unfulfilled and you will lose out, big time.
The Daily Bible Study is online, making it possible as never before in all of human history, to advance in ones relationship with God, through Christ, and to complete yourself beyond your imagination.
But you have to decide to make that commitment. No one else can study for you. You have to do that yourself.
