You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
2 And I
will set [cakak] the Egyptians [Mitsrayim]
against the Egyptians [Mitsrayim]: and they
shall fight [lacham] every one ['iysh] against his brother ['ach],
and every one ['iysh] against his neighbour [rea`]; city [`iyr] against city [`iyr], and kingdom [mamlakah]

brother, and each against his neighbor, City against city, and kingdom against

God controls history in three ways. The third method is in view here, which is His will of permission, in which case, God allows humanity to make choices and then live by those choices.
The first two methods of God controlling history are His direct will, in which He does things directly, like creation, for example. The second method is through the knowledge of truth, or an indirect way, wherein man by decisions based on truth, makes decisions that are in accordance with Gods will.
But here, the nation of Egypt, in those final days of history, will be full of people that will be consumed with evil in all forms, and God will allow their rising up against one another, thus destroying themselves by their own hands.
This is a huge civil war of sorts, but not simply one group rebelling against another, or one part of the country rebelling against another part of the country. This is total chaos, where nearly everyone is rising up against everyone else. Something that would be a good plot line for a good horror or sci-fi movie.
But of course this is a prophecy and it is a very real event that will occur in the future.
We have to also remember that, that future time, the time of the Tribulation, will be a very difficult time when the entire world will be engulfed in all types of struggles, and will have been deep in troubles for all seven years of the Tribulation.
By the end, and even long before the end of that time, people will have been in so much misery and pressure that psychotic behavior should not be unexpected, even on a huge national scale where nearly everyone has gone insane and on a rampage.
No one will be safe. No one can be trusted. No one, not even family amongst themselves.
