that cried, [qara'] and the house [bayith] was filled [male'] with

4 And the
foundations of the thresholds trembled at the voice of him who called out,
while the temple was filling with smoke. NASB
The whole Temple shook on its foundations at the calling of the angels - 'Holy, Holy, Holy.' The noise had to have been loud and the scene somewhat beyond awesome for Isaiah.
Moved at the voice, means a concussion of sound or trembling that accompanied the sound of the cry causing a sensation of overwhelming awe.
The Temple was filling with smoke to cover the glory of Christ. Until the Cross, the Holy of Holies was hidden behind a thick curtain through which no one could pass except the High Priest, and only once per year, and only he, was allowed to enter the Holy of Holies twice on that Day of Atonement.
At other times in the Old Testament the glory of God was hidden in a cloud, in a pillar of fire, in smoke that filled the Temple, at the dedication of Solomon's temple. Christ's glory was not revealed until He was seated at the right hand of the Father. The path to God through Christ was promised but not available until the work of the Cross was completed.
Thus the curtain was torn from top to bottom in that giant earthquake which occurred immediately upon Christ's physical death, revealing and opening up the way to salvation and a relationship with God. Though salvation has never changed throughout history, the historical event of the Cross finalized salvation once and for all. Satan could not prevent it once it had been historically accomplished.
On earth, men make noises over their own glories, over their own accomplishments. But in heaven all of mans noise is drowned out as thought mans noise were nothing. The only real power and authority exists in heaven alone and nowhere else.
Prior to the Cross, the glory of God was hidden. After the Cross the glory of Christ is freely revealed.
