You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
21 I find [heurisko] then [ara] a law [nomos], that [hoti], when I [emoi] would [thelo] do [poieo] good [kalos], evil [kakos] is present [parakeimai] with me [emoi]. KJV-Interlinear
21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. ESV
Mans own works cannot succeed, because the sin nature within, impedes in that effort. And not only does the sin nature impede, but also throws hypocritical barriers in our way.
Far too often our focus is on the specks in others, while we ignore the stone in our own eyes.
We judge or are opinionated against others, while we ignore our own faults.
We make issue over things of insignificance, while disregarding the real priorities of life.
We take exception as to what others say, or how they say it, while ignoring our obligation to learn Bible doctrine and grow up in our spiritual life.
We take exception as to how others dress or look, while ignoring our obligation to learn Bible doctrine and grow up in our spiritual life.
We take exception as to how others spend their money, while ignoring our obligation to learn Bible doctrine and grow up in our own spiritual life.
We take exception as to how others live or choose to live their life, while ignoring our own obligation to learn Bible doctrine and grow up in our spiritual life.
We invent standards for our own life, and try to impose them on others, while ignoring our obligation to learn Bible doctrine and grow up in our spiritual life.
We pursue a disregard for our obligations and responsibilities of life, while ignoring our obligation to learn Bible doctrine and grow up in our spiritual life.
And in case you don’t see a pattern, we as human beings, have a tendency to focus on the many and various details of life, that are, in reality, insignificant, while we tend to ignore the one true thing in life, that is significant, and critical to our life now, and to our life in eternity.
The Bible, never once instructs us as to how we should live our life, nor even as to how we should think, but the Bible does instruct us to learn Bible doctrine, and thereby to guide our life by means of the doctrine that we learn, from instruction.
The world population is approaching 8 billion people. Since Adam and Eve, probably well over a trillion people have been born into this world, lived their life, and died.
Each and every person has been and is a unique individual. All have grown up in dozens and dozens and dozens of different cultures. All have been numbered among different skin colors. All have learned from the thousands of different languages that have existed. All have had different talents and abilities.
But the only thing in common to everyone since Adam and Eve, has been Bible doctrine, which was made available verbally in the beginning, and in writing as we have it today.
What people say and think and do and how they live their life is irrelevant.
The ancient patriarchs, had multiple wives and mistresses, and yet they were not condemned. Great men of the Bible sinned and failed in every imaginable way, and yet they were not condemned.
It is not what you do in life, because of the misdirection of the sin nature, it is how you redirect your life by means of learning Bible doctrine and advancing and living within your spiritual life, that is important.
Seeking a life of perfection, or seeking a world of perfection, or attempting to produce perfection, or even expecting perfection as you see it, is a misdirected effort.
The important thing in life, is to pursue a daily Bible study, to live in fellowship, and to advance in your spiritual life. And this is what the great people of the Bible did, in spite of their failures. And that is why they succeeded.
Study [by instruction],
to show thyself approved [spiritually mature]
unto God,
a workman [student]
that need not be ashamed [ignorant],
rightly dividing [learning, understanding, discerning]
the word of truth [Bible doctrine].
These studies, are a part of the massive daily study web site at DailyBibeStudy.Org, that is easily accessible, and are written, so that you can come to Christ if you have not done so already, and therefore not be lost forever.
And if you have already believed in Christ, then these studies are written so you can learn and understand and grow in your spiritual life, so that you can come to the full knowledge of Christ, so that you can fulfill your meaning and purpose in life as God intended for you, and so you can qualify for a phenomenal eternal reward which you will have forever.
To ignore this opportunity to pursue a daily study means you will be incomplete, unfulfilled and you will lose out, big time.
The Daily Bible Study is online, making it possible as never before in all of human history, to advance in ones relationship with God, through Christ, and to complete yourself beyond your imagination.
But you have to decide to make that commitment. No one else can study for you. You have to do that yourself.
