You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
11 Likewise [houto] reckon [logizomai] ye [humeis] also [kai] yourselves [heautou] to be [einai] dead [nekros] indeed [men] unto sin [hamartia], but [de] alive [zao] unto God [theos] through [en] Jesus [Iesous] Christ [Christos] our [hemon] Lord [kurios]. KJV-Interlinear
11 So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. ESV
Likewise, means, in similar manner, to conclude, to impute, to take an inventory, to conduct yourself after the pattern. And the pattern is the spiritual life.
And the spiritual life, means that you live life as the living are supposed to live life, not attempting to live life as a dead person.
Dead to sin, means you do not live in the pattern of the sin nature.
Instead you live unto God, which means you live and function within the spiritual sphere.
God, theos, is a reference to deity or the supreme being. And the supreme being, consists of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We have a relationship with God the Father, through Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Christ is Bible doctrine learned and inculcated into your soul, thus Christ in you.
The power of the Holy Spirit, means living in fellowship.
You acquire fellowship by means of confession of your sins, on a regular basis, to God the Father.
You acquire Bible doctrine by means of a daily study.
Therefore, your mandate is to live within your spiritual life, and not within your sin nature.
Living within your spiritual life, is life.
Living within your sin nature, is the same as trying to live as a dead person. And the dead are not the living.
Life has everything, while death has nothing.
These studies, are a part of the massive daily study web site at DailyBibeStudy.Org, that is easily accessible, and are written, so that you can come to Christ if you have not done so already, and therefore not be lost forever.
And if you have already believed in Christ, then these studies are written so you can learn and understand and grow in your spiritual life, so that you can come to the full knowledge of Christ, so that you can fulfill your meaning and purpose in life as God intended for you, and so you can qualify for a phenomenal eternal reward which you will have forever.
To ignore this opportunity to pursue a daily study means you will be incomplete, unfulfilled and you will lose out, big time.
The Daily Bible Study is online, making it possible as never before in all of human history, to advance in ones relationship with God, through Christ, and to complete yourself beyond your imagination.
But you have to decide to make that commitment. No one else can study for you. You have to do that yourself.
