15 Their [autos] feet [pous] are swift [oxus] to shed [ekcheo] blood [haima]:   KJV-Interlinear

15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;   ESV

These verses from verse 10 to verse 18, are derived from various passages in the Old Testament, Psa. 14, 53, 5, 140, 10, 36, Isa. 59, Prov. 1. But regardless of their source, the result is the same. As goes the depravity of man, so goes evil.

Feet often times designate the activity of ones daily life.

Swift obviously demonstrates being in a hurry, being eager, showing no concern or remorse.

And shedding of blood demonstrates violence, cruelty, malice, vengeance, injustice, prejudice, and so forth.

And such it the nature of humanity.

We are often times in a hurry to get even. And not only even but more than even.

For a small infraction, the demand is to punish incessantly. And this is not limited to the legal process but to the social process, wherein society can condemn by means of gossip, or sincerity, or social conversation. And these things are often used to hide their vigilante and lack of due process attributes. You will find the most violations on television talk shows, radio talk shows, television series and in the printed and broadcast news media, as self-righteousness promotes condemnation and criticism and so forth.

There are probably few places where you cannot find this type of evil.

So this is not limited to overt criminal activity, but includes all manner of activity (thought, verbal, etc) found in society.

And as we move through these verses, is should become clear that humanity is saturated with so many types of evil that it is a wonder that God has not discarded us altogether, a very long time ago. But thankfully, He has not, and He does not act like humanity.
