Joel 2:23-25

Lesson # Joel 2:23-25
Study Material - Joel 2:23-25

You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Joel 2:23-25

23 Be glad [giyl] then, ye children [ben] of Zion [Tsiyown] , and rejoice [samach] in the LORD [Yahovah] your God [elohiym] : for he hath given [nathan] you the former rain [mowreh] moderately [tsadaqah] , and he will cause to come down [yarad] for you the rain [geshem] , the former rain [mowreh] , and the latter rain [malqowsh] in the first [ri'shown] month.
24 And the floors [goren] shall be full [male] of wheat [bar] , and the fats [yeqeb] shall overflow [shuwq] with wine [tiyrowsh] and oil [yitshar] .
25 And I will restore [shalam] to you the years [shaneh] that the locust [arbeh] hath eaten [akal] , the cankerworm [yekeq] , and the caterpiller [chaciyl] , and the palmerworm [gazam] , my great [gadowl] army [chayil] which I sent [shalach] among you. KJV-Interlinear

23 So rejoice, O sons of Zion, And be glad in the LORD your God; For He has given you the early rain for your vindication. And He has poured down for you the rain, The early and latter rain as before. 24 And the threshing floors will be full of grain, And the vats will overflow with the new wine and oil. 25 'Then I will make up to you for the years That the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust, and the gnawing locust, My great army which I sent among you. What folks need to do is reevaluate their individual lives, and ask themselves (that means you), 'Am I in compliance with Gods will?'

If you are consistent in your daily study.
If you are consistent in your fellowship status.
If you are genuinely interested and desirous of growing up spiritually.
If you apply what you learn, to your daily life.
If you are obedient (this is the tough one), if you are obedient to the things God expects of you - complying with those three areas of responsibility we have studied time and time again. Responsibility to God, to self, to others.

Then if the above apply to your life, then you are in compliance with Gods will.

But, if you have any issues with any of the above, then you have compromised something in the teaching of the Word of God, with which you don't agree, with which you don't believe, with which you just want to ignore, and to that extent you are out of Gods will.

Only you can evaluate yourself. Well, God can evaluate you but He will not make your mind up for you. You have to look at yourself in the mirror (honestly) and evaluate yourself, then make the necessary changes in your life. Don't be the fool and pretend that all is right when it is not.

God is the provider, the source of all blessing. All good things come from God. This blessing comes to you via your spiritual life. This is the secret of your being a winner in life. The sooner you understand this, the sooner you can get along with your spiritual success.

The longer you put off objectively evaluating yourself, the longer you delay the great blessings which God has waiting for you. Remember that you and you alone make or break your eternal blessing. Only you and God are concerned with your future. No one else on this earth is involved in your personal spiritual life. There is no one to convince, no one else to prove anything to, no one else to gain acceptance from. God alone is your evaluation judge.

So we live our life before Him. We don't live our life to impress (or fool) people. People can do nothing for our spiritual life.

Perhaps a check list is necessary in order to gauge where you are in your spiritual life.

End of lesson.

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
