Isaiah 31:9

http://www.dailybiblestudy.org

Beginning January 1, 2016,
current studies will be posted on the
Daily Bible Study Blog

9 And he shall pass over [`abar] to his strong hold [cela`] for fear [magowr], and his princes [sar] shall be afraid [chathath] of the ensign [nec], saith [na'um] the LORD [Yahovah], whose fire ['uwr] is in Zion [Tsiyown], and his furnace [tannuwr] in Jerusalem [Yaruwshalaim].   KJV-Interlinear

9 His rock shall pass away in terror, and his officers desert the standard in panic,” declares the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and whose furnace is in Jerusalem.  ESV

This final verse, completes the description of the total destruction of evil in the world.

The strongholds, represent all things that people look to for their strength and for their security and for their power.

The princes, refer to all leaders, to all leadership, to all celebrities, to all that believe they are something or somebody in this world.

And in their final moments, they will see the true opposition, which is not of this world, but recognize that it is God through Jesus Christ, alone, whom they have been opposing all along.

The ensign, refers to the banner or standard or symbol. And in this case it refers to the entire concept of Christianity.

The fire of Zion, refers to the mountain of truth, or Bible doctrine.

The furnace in Jerusalem, refers the absolute peace and completeness and power of spiritual maturity, which originates from and resides in Jesus Christ.

All of history is centered around Jesus Christ.

Although people pursue their day-to-day life chasing after this priority or that priority, or this thing or that thing, or this plan or that plan, none of it has any value whatsoever when they lack a complete spiritual life.

While humanity plays tug-of-war with himself, within the environment of this earth, there is a greater conflict that exists outside this physical world. And it is that conflict that will decide everything, not mans many conflicts, which are petty in nature, by comparison.

To ignore the greater picture of reality and life, is to end up completely and totally destroyed.

These studies are a part of the massive daily study web site at DailyBibeStudy.Org, and are written, so that you can come to Christ if you have not done so already, and therefore not be lost forever.

And if you have already believed in Christ, then these studies are written so you can learn and understand and grow in your spiritual life, so that you can come to the full knowledge of Christ, so that you can fulfill your meaning and purpose in life as God intended for you, and so you can qualify for a phenomenal eternal reward which you will have forever.

To ignore this opportunity to pursue a daily study means you will be incomplete, unfulfilled and you will lose out, big time.

The Daily Bible Study is online, making it possible as never before in all of human history, to advance in ones relationship with God, through Christ, and to complete yourself beyond your imagination.

But you have to decide to make that commitment. No one else can study for you. You have to do that yourself.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
