Lesson # Zeph. 3:5 Study Material - Zeph. 3:5 You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth. Zeph. 3:5 5 The just [tsaddiyq] LORD [Yahovah] is in the midst [qereb] thereof; he will not do [asah] iniquity [evel] : every [boqer] morning [boqer] doth he bring [nathan] his judgment [mishpat] to light [owr] , he faileth [adar] not; but the unjust [avval] knoweth [yada] no shame [bosheth] . KJV-Interlinear 5 The LORD is righteous within her; He will do no injustice. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He does not fail. But the unjust knows no shame. NASB Mankind does sin, God does not. Mankind brings injustice, God does not. Mankind is prejudiced, God is not. Mankind lies, God does not. Mankind is easily deceived by his own imaginations, God is not. Mankind blames God and everyone else for his own flaws and failures, God does not. Mankind ignores truth, God is truth. God provides a solution for every known flaw and failure in human history. Man will never find solutions for the difficulties he faces in history. God provides proof of Himself, and His higher purpose, and plan, and ability, everyday. There isn't a day that doesn't go by where mankind can see the proof of God in some way. There isn't a day that doesn't go by where mankind can see that there is a higher purpose for himself in life. There isn't a day that doesn't go by where mankind knows that God has a plan and that man can function within that plan, or man can ignore it. Deut. 23:14 14 Since the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp to deliver you and to defeat your enemies before you, therefore your camp must be holy; and He must not see anything indecent among you lest He turn away from you. NASB God is in our everyday life (our camp). He makes himself known regardless of whether we choose to ignore Him. Isa. 50:4 4 The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of disciples, That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple. NASB Gods doctrine is common knowledge regardless of whether we study His Word systematically from day to day or not. Unbelievers around the world have heard of Jesus Christ, Moses, Abraham, Noah, and so forth. There isn't a person who hasn't heard of Gideon and his victory. There isn't a person who doesn't know of the common principles of life - marriage, honesty, the wrongs of theft and murder and gossip and so forth, and many other norms and standards which society is influenced by and of whose origins came from the scriptures. Much of life on planet earth has its foundations of influence from Bible doctrine. Proof of God is all around, even if you reject God. There is nothing you can do to make God or knowledge of God go away. Death is common to everyone. We pass cemeteries and churches many times in life. We see life and death struggles in the movies. There again, isn't anyone who hasn't thought of what comes after death. Even though many try to ignore the subject. Yet even that won't make it not happen. Hos. 6:5 5 Therefore I have hewn them in pieces by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of My mouth; And the judgments on you are like the light that goes forth. NASB So God tears negative people apart with His words. God tells all the truth, and there exists no excuse for anyone for not knowing the spiritual repercussions of the decisions in their life. If you are born alive, then you will see death eventually. It could be in a few years or in a hundred years. If you live any length of time as an adult, then you will have knowledge of God and what He has available for you. Your first decision helps you escape hell by believing in Christ, 'Father I believe in Jesus Christ.' Six little words can be thought in the mind in just a second or two. How can anyone pass up such an easy path to salvation. The second decision is really a series of daily decisions. Just as you make decisions in life since the time you were an infant in order to grow up, likewise you have to make decisions in the spiritual life from the time you are born again (from the moment of your salvation) until you grow up spiritually. No one should want to remain a spiritual infant all of their life. Anyone who advances in their spiritual life is classified as 'just' or 'perfect' or 'righteous.' Anyone who does not pursue their spiritual life is identified as the 'unjust' or 'the un-righteous.' With doctrine in the soul you know right from wrong. You discern between truth and lies. Without doctrine in the soul, then you voluntarily chose to ignore any basis with which to judge between shame and no shame, therefore the unjust, the carnal believer, the negative believer, the believer who compromises his spiritual life, knows no shame. Whatever he does or thinks seems ok with Him. Compromising, rationalizing, finding excuses comes easy. With God in the life, there is no failure, only success, regardless of your circumstances in life. Without God, there is only failure. Your circumstances alone will never help you.
