19 Many [rab] are the afflictions [ra`] of the righteous [tsaddiyq]: but the LORD [Y@hovah] delivereth [natsal] him out of them all.  KJV-Interlinear

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.   ESV

The word for afflictions covers a wide spectrum of difficulties that are common to humanity.

Whether you have problems in your social life, or in your employment, in health, in business, in education, in marriage, in family, financial problems, and the list goes on and on and on. Thus many are the afflictions.

Throughout history Christians have had to endure the common day to day pressures that most of us have to face during our lives, and in some cases they have had to endure much more gruesome atrocities at the hands of nature or government or bureaucracy or people.

But the principle here is that, no matter what your problems, no matter how light or severe, no matter the duration, whether short of long lasting, all problems are solved and put away by God, sooner or later.

Often times He removes us from this world and that ends all hardship. No more sorrow, no more tears, etc.

But too, many hardships are removed while we are still here. We endure, and we survive, and we learn and grow up as a result of our experiences.

There is never a guarantee of a perfect life in this life. This is the devils world. But one day, all problems will be removed, and that is Gods promise. Problems will never follow us into eternity.
