Lesson # Prov. 11:21 Study Material - Prov. 11:21 You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth. Prov. 11:21 21 Though hand [yad] join in hand [yad] , the wicked [ra] shall not be unpunished [naqah] : but the seed [zera] of the righteous [tsaddiyq] shall be delivered [malat] . KJV-Interlinear Prov. 11:21 21 Assuredly, the evil man will not go unpunished, But the descendants of the righteous will be delivered. NAS Conspiracy arises when two or more people cooperate in an endeavor. The people do not have to know each other, nor even have to see each other, but merely work united with each other in the common pattern of their deed. We normally think of a couple of people getting together to rob a bank or something like that. Conspiracy carries a negative connotation of a wrong doing of some kind. And that is what this 'hand in hand' phrase is all about. This is the clasping of hands together of two or more people in agreement in their planned activity. A sports teams players join hands in a group clasping, if you will. Their goal of course is to win their game. There is the raw, raw, raw of their hopes and purpose in winning. So it is with mankind in sin. The raw, raw, raw of pursuing their negative pattern of life. As we saw in the previous verse, the error of the negative man is found in the soul. He has a perverse heart, therefore his actions, that which flows from the soul, are in error. We call them evil, or in some cases we will define evil as the intent, and the action or production of evil as wickedness. The righteous person is 'right' in the soul. The soul of the righteous is filed with Bible doctrine and again as we saw in the previous verse, the 'walk' of the righteous, that is, the daily activity (his walk), is right. Thought, intent, action and so forth always flow from the content of the soul. What you think is what you are. The production (his descendants) of the righteous will always see delivery. Anyone who follows the pattern of life as defined in the scriptures will see deliverance, freedom, liberty, prosperity. Those who follow the pattern of evil (any life style which disregards Gods will) will see misery and judgment. No one will ever get away with anything, outside of Gods will, that they pursue. When do these things occur? Some sooner, and some later. God has a time table for history. God has a time table for your life. If you are out of Gods will on a regular basis, then you best be glad that God is not in such a hurry to blast you from the face of the world. He is patient. You have time for two possible reasons. First to give you a chance, many chances, to get with a Bible study program. And second to prove to all who are watching (the angelic realm), that you are not ever going to change, thus the coming punishment will be proper and fair. The punishment of negative people often times comes slowly. God allows them to sink deeper in their pit. When people are so defiantly negative, then God will even set the stage for their pursuing their false ways to the maximum. Example. Some of the terrorists (obviously bad people) have a large following (people with distorted ideas about morality, justice, etc.). These terrorists have not been found. Perhaps they are dead, perhaps not, but their reputation lives on and God allows people to promote them to hero status. This proves that evil has a huge following and that people without Bible doctrine in their souls will stop at nothing to do harm to anyone who opposes them. They are not interested in justice, but in their own self centered lusts for power and such. People can look around and see what is right and what is wrong, and choose their side. You can do it on a personal level. You can choose on a national level. When things get too out of hand, then God raises up something or someone to crush it, or put its growth in check. Personally I think that is just what we have witnessed in our contemporary world history these last couple of years. And to think that it all teetered on a vote count in our national election three years ago. Evil can run rampant for decades, but sooner or later it will all come crashing down around those who promote their evil. Deliverance can come slowly as well, but come it will with certainty. There is the promise to both sides. If you choose evil, then God will come down on you like a ton of bricks. He may not come down on you soon. He may let you fool yourself into thinking that you are even getting away with whatever it is you are doing. But life happens on Gods time table, not mans. Gods timing is certain. Mans timing is always on borrowed time. If you choose for God then He will always be there for you, but again on His terms, not yours. He may allow you to suffer, but if so, there is always a very good reason for it. First, to help you concentrate on His mercy and wisdom and not on your suffering. And second, to demonstrate to the world and angels that your situation is nothing when compared to His mercy. You come out a winner. Have you ever seen a movie where the good guy goes through all sorts of suffering and hardship, but in the end comes out the winner and the bad guys get theirs? That is usually a movie you cheer at in the end or are in 'happy' tears if your emotions are right. That is the quintessence of a real life's adventure.
