Prov. 6:12-15

Lesson # Prov. 6:12-15 Study Material - Prov. 6:12-15 You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth. Prov. 6:12-15 12 A worthless person, a wicked man, Is the one who walks with a false mouth, 13 Who winks with his eyes, who signals with his feet, Who points with his fingers; 14 Who with perversity in his heart devises evil continually, Who spreads strife. 15 Therefore his calamity will come suddenly; Instantly he will be broken, and there will be no healing. Dealing with strangers can cause you great harm. Your sin nature is a stranger who deceives and entices you into sin and away from God and His Word. A lazy person, one who does not have time for doctrine will lose much even by his own lack of effort. By doing nothing, judgment awaits. In life a lazy person won't amount to much, and certainly in the spiritual life a lazy person will never amount to much. Now for the one who is active in wickedness. The person who deceives, who smiles at you and sticks the knife in your back. The gossip, the malinger, the liar who makes up stories about you in their effort to destroy you. They attempt to promote themselves in their social circles. They ooze false wisdom from themselves and sit in judgment on you. They do it for the 'cause', their cause, their righteousness. They determine what is right and you are not right. They create their standards and you do not fit it. They seek to ostracize you from their circle of friends, exercising their perceived power against you. They are evil to the core and are not to be trusted. They are what the Hebrew calls 'Belial', sons of Belial. Note the initials of the phrase - SOB's. Evil people begetting evil offspring. Or dogs chasing their own vomit. They do and say things artfully but with deceit. They use their body language, their eyes, their feet, their finger. Their thoughts are the source of evil and it overflows throughout their whole being. Those around them know the meaning of the wink of the eye, the soft whisper of their voice, 'Don't tell anyone, but...', as they makes tools of those around them in their perverted effort to recruit those who are unsuspecting, but are equally as guilty in their participation of the spreading of the gossip. The wicked , worthless person, has little ways of concealing his motives and actions, using others to go out and spread their dirty work. And only those who think as he does, are let in on the 'secret', but they do not see the cunning, yet they themselves have their own cunning by virtue of their relationship with the worthless person. The heart of the worthless is full of anger, of hate, of jealousy, of arrogance. In reverse order, the arrogance comes first. They dislike the prosperity of the believer who is blessed. They are jealous and that turns to hate and revenge. They will stop at nothing until they have destroyed their opponent. Not that it will gain them their own prosperity, but they think they will have the satisfaction of ridding the world of a person they have chosen to dislike, and they perceive they are promoting themselves inside their own social circles. There is no good end coming to this kind of person. So forewarned are we to not associate with these types. Certainly not to become a worthless type. We can never promote ourselves at the expense of others. God has a special curse of foreboding on worthless peoples. They will live their lives with their ups and downs as we all do. They will have their share of successes and failures in life as the jungle permits. They will have their opportunities to change their life style. They will have their opportunities to see the results of their worthless behavior, as they witness others suffering in similar manner from their similar pattern of life. They will have no excuse. But there will be a end to their caused affliction on others. There will be no remedy. Others, their victims, will be blessed while they themselves will be cursed. Suddenly and sometimes violently they will meet their miserable doom. No one will be there to rescue them. They will find themselves alone, even as they attempted to isolate their victims into obscurity and isolation. All their wishes of despair and loss on their victims will descend on themselves with great weight as God suddenly and seemingly without warning drops the hammer on their life. The truth is that they really had many warnings, but they did not heed them. Their focus on the destruction of their victim absorbs their entire being. They become obsessed in their deceitful plots, and therefore blinded to the realities of their actions. The worthless person, the person who practices wickedness in subtle forms will meet their doom with no one in remorse, with no remedy to their predicament, with no healing or recovery possible, once God has said - 'Enough'! End Of Lesson Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
