Job 35:15-16

15 But now, because it is not so, he hath visited [paqad] in his anger ['aph]; yet he knoweth [yada`] it not in great [ma`od] extremity [pash]:

16 Therefore doth Job ['Iyowb] open [patsah] his mouth [peh] in vain [hebel]; he multiplieth [kabar] words [millah] without [baliy] knowledge [da`ath]. KJV-Interlinear

15 'And now, because He has not visited in His anger, Nor has He acknowledged transgression well, 16 So Job opens his mouth emptily; He multiplies words without knowledge.' NASB

And now the greatest failure on Elihu's part. His conclusion based on his observation of Jobs sufferings, based on his hearing of Jobs complaints, and based on the obvious lack of action from God as a result.

Job has lived many decades and he was prospered to phenomenal quantities of wealth.

Job has now endured sufferings of equal magnitude, but his sufferings have lasted not very long by comparison to his lifespan.

How Elihu can conclude, that God has made a decision to not answer or relieve Job, is the error.

Mans lifespan does not occur during a weekend, during a week, during a month or even a year. Mans lifespan does not occur totally throughout any single event in ones life. And yet people will jump to conclusions regarding a person who is enduring some bad luck in their life. People will even come to that conclusion about themselves when things get really ugly in their own life.

But Gods plan does not begin and end in any one generation, but spans the course of all of human history.

In Christ's line, from Adam to Mary, seventy-five generations passed. From Adam to Joseph, sixty generations passed. If you consider Jesus' lifespan of thirty-three years as the typical lifespan, then from His birth to today, sixty generations have now passed and we are in our sixty-first generation.

Human history has spanned over 120 generations and continues. Gods plan has progressed throughout all of those 120 generations and has not missed a beat.

The dispensations continue toward the conclusion (the rapture) of our current dispensation and most of the world asks where is Jesus? When will He appear? When will He return? So much time has passed, did He forget?

And yet the clock keeps on ticking. Something which no one can prevent. The days and nights continue to pass. Something which no one can alter.

You will meet many obstacles in your life, and many will look at you and offer their interpretation of Gods judgment against you. They will presume that you are the fool and that God has it in for you. But people are wrong most of the time.

All you have to do is ignore them, continue your advancement in your spiritual life, be responsible, and trust in God. In Gods good time, He will work for your best interest and you will be far better off.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
