You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
Job 24:22
Job 24:22 He draweth [mashak] also the mighty ['abbiyr]
with his power [koach]: he riseth up [quwm], and no man is sure ['aman]
of life [chay]. KJV-Interlinear
22 'But He drags off the valiant
by His power; He rises, but no one has
assurance of life. NASB
The insults of the spiritually negative are not
limited only toward widows and the barren, but the wicked person (anyone who
does not function within the spiritual life), will also be rude toward the rich
and powerful of the world.
With no assurance of breathing another breath of life
with each new day, the spiritually negative take a great deal for granted. And they view things in life, through selfish
eyes.
They view life with presumption. They look at all of the tomorrows, they
conjure up plans and dreams or desires within their own soul. The spiritually negative want something and
then presume that they will get it.
'We will go out and buy and sell and make ourselves
rich. We will do this, we will
accomplish that, we will have this, we will make that happen.' And their views of life are such that their
plans are always reasonably certain.
They will boast extensively of their plans, of their accomplishments, or
of their possessions.
The spiritually negative are ungrateful for all that
they have received. They certainly give
no credit to God who provides everything to everyone in life. And they certainly have little regard for those
whom they consider beneath their level of dignity (widows and the barren). They are typically prejudiced toward others.
Likewise, they are surrounded with other people who
are above them on the social scale. To
them likewise, they have little regard, except to the extent that others can do
something for them. If useful, then all of the expected courtesies are
extended, but once it is apparent that someone will not be of use to them, then
even the rich and powerful are viewed with disdain.
And all of this in the face of the biggest truth that
faces us all. Tomorrow is not ours to
determine, command, or control. Tomorrow
is not guaranteed.
One blink, one choke, one accident away, our next
breath or heartbeat may be our last.
All of life hangs by a very thin thread. And God holds that thread, and the scissors
to cut it.
Now is the time to post a prayer.
End Of Lesson
Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
