You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
Job 10:13-14
13 And these things hast thou hid [tsaphan] in thine heart [lebab]: I
know [yada`] that this is with thee.
14 If I sin [chata'], then thou
markest [shamar] me, and thou wilt not acquit [naqah] me from mine iniquity [`avon]. KJV-Interlinear
13 'Yet these things Thou hast
concealed in Thy heart; I know that this
is within Thee: 14 If I sin, then Thou
wouldst take note of me, And wouldst not acquit me of my guilt. NASB
All of these things.
All of these things just mentioned and referred to in the prior
chapters. All of these things, which
result in historical events, God has known about since eternity past.
God has kept them in His knowledge, because it was God
who invented and created all things, and caused all things to come into existence. It is God who has looked down through time
and has seen all things, all thoughts, all motivations, all decisions, all
actions of man and angels, and every living creature, and actions of nature.
Eccl. 3:11
11 He has made everything appropriate in its time. He
has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the
work which God has done from the beginning even to the end. NASB
The knowledge of God is so vast, that it spans time
from eternity past to eternity future.
Gods knowledge and wisdom has no beginning, and no end, and He knows all
of it. Figure that one out if you can.
Man cannot possible figure out all that God has
designed, and especially the infinite interactions of all components, of all
relationships of the living and not, in this world, past, present and future.
It is this vast intent of God that Job finds himself
with bewilderment. Man cannot possibly
figure it all out. Even when people
maintain their fellowship and advance within their spiritual life, Gods wisdom
is beyond them.
God maintains a close scorecard on us all. He monitors each of our lives and tracks each
and every sin. Nothing gets by God. He never turns His head away on even the
smallest of infractions, but holds us accountable for every thought, every
improper desire, every decision, every action, even of the tiniest bit, in our
life.
And, God will not acquit, not look away, not disregard
any infraction of His perfect standards of righteousness and demands of justice. Not for the worst of people who ever lived,
not for the wickedest of people, not for the good and decent people, not even for
the spiritually mature.
All who fail, fail.
God applies His standards equally to all. There are no exceptions.
Do not look at those who are obviously evil, and think
that they are getting away with their deeds.
Don't think that anyone who celebrates their evil successes, are
celebrating victory. Wicked people all
around the world, celebrate themselves.
Job is looking at life as most people do, with
confusion. How can God, who designed and
created this entire universe, even the complexities of the human anatomy,
simply allow suffering to occur?
Job has studied the scriptures all his life. He has observed the required offerings and
sacrifices. He understands their
purpose. He has incorporated all of Gods
mandates into his daily life. Job has
seen the evils of the world. Job is
aware of the complexities of life. He
knows that no human being is perfect, and that some are more evil than
others. He knows that life generally can
be unfair.
Job is certain that he has done nothing to cause all
of this suffering to fall on himself. He
knows that he is a sinner as is all of humanity, but Job has observed the principles
of the confession sacrifice which guarantees forgiveness of sin.
Job knows that the principles that have been expressed
by his friends, that the good are blessed and the evil are cursed, are true
principles, but he is also convinced that they are being applied, especially
the latter part, to him incorrectly.
Now is the time to post a prayer.
End Of Lesson
Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
