You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
Job 10:4-6
4 Hast thou eyes [`ayin] of flesh [basar]? or seest [ra'ah] thou as man ['enowsh] seeth
[ra'ah]?
5 Are thy days [yowm] as the days [yowm] of man ['enowsh]? are thy
years [shaneh (in pl. only),] as man's [geber] days [yowm],
6 That thou enquirest [baqash] after mine iniquity [`avon],
and searchest [darash] after my sin [chatta'ah]? KJV-Interlinear
4 'Hast Thou eyes of flesh? Or dost Thou see as a man sees? 5 'Are Thy days as the days of a mortal, Or
Thy years as man's years, 6 That Thou
shouldst seek for my guilt, And search after my sin? NASB
Is God like a man?
Does He function like a man? Does
God live like a man? Does God reach
conclusions and make judgments like a man?
And even though one day in the future, God will become
man, in the person of Jesus Christ, He will not then come to research, He will
not come to evaluate, He will not come to judge, but to be judged.
The God of heaven does not use His eyes as man uses
eyes. God sees everything instantly and
simultaneously. Man has to see, and then
look further into a matter, and then investigate to discover even further.
Often times mans senses interfere with his objectivity
and he does not see truth clearly, but he sees a distorted interpretation of
what he observes. He arrives at
conclusions that can vary anywhere from truth to the unbelievably absurd, and
treat all with equal sincerity.
Things can be hidden from mans eyes. Some things are even beyond mans sight, like
the thoughts of another. Certainly the
spiritual realm is beyond mans senses.
That realm requires a special set of eyes supplied by God, before man
can even begin to bring it into his sight.
Man has to live life one moment at a time, one day at
a time. Man lives in the current, loses the
past, and cannot see into the future with absolute certainty. As I type this study, the news is covering
the story of that High School that was destroyed in Alabama by those storms.
There is no certainty in this world. You can wake up on any given day and discover
your life changed in some dramatic way.
God does not live life one day at a time. God sees our past, our present and our future
even clear into eternity, simultaneously.
God has current knowledge of everything.
God does not have to search out a matter. God does not have to discover the facts and
then arrive at a conclusion by either deduction or circumstantial guesswork.
God is not biased with preconceived ideas, or
predetermined beliefs based on hearsay or collective acceptance in
society. God is not prejudiced, nor does
He have to deal with emotions, which can distort ones thinking or views in
life.
God does not have to wonder about a persons innocence
or guilt. God cannot be fooled with
fancy rhetoric or confused by ambiguous or endless debate.
God does not determine the course of justice, by means
of popular opinion or vote.
God is truth.
God knows truth. God knows all of
the circumstances of any given matter in history past, present, or future.
Neither darkness, illusion, invented barriers, nor
dimensions of reality, can interfere with or hinder Gods wisdom.
God does not depend on the characteristics and
circumstances common to man, to do His own will. He works without regard to human means.
Now is the time to post a prayer.
End Of Lesson
Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
