You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
Isa. 66:22
22 For as the new [chadash] heavens [shamayim] and the
new [chadash] earth ['erets], which I will make [`asah],
shall remain [`amad] before [paniym] me, saith [na'um] the LORD [Yahovah], so shall your seed [zera`]
and your name [shem] remain [`amad]. KJV-Interlinear
22 For just as the new heavens and the new earth Which I
make will endure before Me, declares the LORD, So your offspring and your
name will endure. NASB
The
most common theory for the explanation of the creation of the universe is the
Big Bang theory. In order to have a
big bang, there must be a source for that bang.
That source is supposedly all of the matter in the universe, packed
together so tightly that one day it just exploded. Thus the Big Bang.
This
explosion caused all of the matter in the universe to sail out into, well, into
the universe. The theory also is that
one day, gravity will cause all of that matter to come collapsing back on
itself and then repeat this action again and again, forever.
Of
course, it is just a theory, but it has been around for such a long time, that
people generally think that it is fact.
We
have already seen, in Genesis, that God created the universe out of
nothing. The word used there is the Hebrew
word, bara, which means to create something out of nothing. Isaiah repeats the use of this word, bara,
earlier in this chapter when he describes the creation of the new universe.
Now
Isaiah uses a different word, asah, which means to make something in
accordance with a pattern. A pattern
means just that. It is a design,
something invented by an author or some intelligent source. It is not happenchance, random, or just plain
luck.
Just
as God created the first universe out of nothing, so also, God will create the
second universe out of nothing. Just as
God made the first universe in accordance with a pattern or design, so also the
second universe will be made in accordance with a pattern.
Will
they both look the same? Probably
not. We ll just have to wait to see what
the new universe will be like. But
suffice to say, it will most likely blow our resurrection socks off, when it is
created.
There
will only be two universes. Ours now,
and then the next one, which is to come.
Our
universe was created in a moment of time. It was created out of nothing. It will not collapse back onto itself and
blow up again and again.
After
the Millennium concludes and after the Great White Throne, God will destroy the
entire universe. Everything will be erased as though it never existed.
Then
God will create out of nothing, not out of the dust of the old, but out of
nothing, a brand new universe. It will
probably have a new universe smell.
This
new universe will continue on forever. It
will be huge and vast and we will have access to all of it. Its size alone will take anyone forever to
explore it all. And most important, God will never destroy it. It will be a permanent universe. No collapsing, no changes, no take-over s.
Our
home of the future will be permanent.
None of us will ever lose our home, and we will never be forced to move.
Also,
since we all will have believed in Christ and thus have been reborn, our new
offspring, the new you, do to your rebirth in salvation, will continue forever. This is eternal life as it was described in
the Old Testament.
You
will not go on into eternity and have more children. Having children will be a thing of the past
and will not continue in eternity.
Your
name, your identity, you yourself will live on forever.
This
will not be some new energy form of yourself.
This will not be some other form of yourself. You won t be a worm or an eagle in the next
life. This will not be anything else,
nor any other version or concept of you, but you just as you are. The change that you will have, will be in
the form of a new resurrection body, one that is indestructible, one that won t
age, one that will make you look like a thirty-year old mature adult in your
prime.
And,
your prime will last forever. You ll
look pretty good, and you will absolutely love the way you look, too. You ll be perfect!
Now is the time to post a prayer.
End Of Lesson
Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
