You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
Isa. 65:25
25 The wolf [za'eb] and the lamb
[taleh] shall feed [ra`ah] together ['echad], and the
lion ['ariy] shall eat ['akal] straw [teben] like the
bullock [baqar]: and dust [`aphar] shall be the serpent's [nachash] meat [lechem]. They shall
not hurt [ra`a`] nor destroy [shachath] in all my holy [qodesh]
mountain [har], saith ['amar] the LORD [Yahovah]. KJV-Interlinear
25 The wolf and the lamb shall graze together, and the lion
shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall
do no evil or harm in all My holy mountain, says the LORD. NASB
This
last verse in chapter 65, wraps up the list of dramatic changes that will take
place when the Millennium begins.
Some
changes will occur immediately and others will occur at a later time. For example, recall that when Christ arrives
here at the Second Advent, the world will be at war. Christ will end the war with the almost
instant annihilation of millions or billions of people. A very small remnant by
comparison, will survive the war.
Christ
will arrive immediately following a supernatural darkness. When the light of His arrival returns, the day
and night cycle will end. There will no
longer be day and night, no longer be contrasts, good and evil, throughout the
world. The light of Christ will become
the source of the worlds light. The
world will then begin to enjoy perfect weather, and a perfect year round
climate.
Satan
will be chained up and hauled off, before everyone, to the Abyss. There he will remain for 1000 years, or the
duration of the Millennium. With the
lock up of Satan, his source and pattern of evil, will be eliminated for the
remainder of human history.
Still
the world will be covered with the dead bodies of millions or billions of
people. That clean up job will be huge. It will not only take several months to bury
the dead, but since the count of the dead will be in such huge numbers, God
will bring the scavenger birds and animals to their last great feast of flesh.
Simultaneous
with these first events, the genetics of the remnant will begin to change as
their health and life fonts will be strengthened and extended. Babies will be born. The world will begin its repopulation.
After
the dead have been virtually eliminated, disposed of, and buried, then the
animal kingdom will begin its changes.
Here
in this verse, Isaiah closes out the chapter with the last of the dramatic
changes that will occur in the Millennium.
The ferocity of the wild animal kingdom will disappear. Lions will become tame as kittens. Even the most poisonous snakes will lose
their deadly fangs and threat to others.
Isa.
11:6-9
6
And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, And the leopard will lie down with the
kid, And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little boy
will lead them.
7
Also the cow and the bear will graze; Their young will lie down together; And
the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8
And the nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, And the weaned child
will put his hand on the viper's den.
9
They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth will be
full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea. NASB
The
bulk of the dangers in life will disappear, and peace and security, and threats
of many kinds will cease to exist.
The
arrogance in Satan brought about his own self-imposed down fall. He in effect tempted himself and fell for his
own self-imposed imagined glory. Man, on
the other hand, was initially tempted not by himself, but by the eternal
interference of Satan.
The
removal of Satan for the 1000-year period of the Millennium, will further prove
his guilt in causing the massive downfalls of history. The snake will continue to move about on its
belly, as he has been perpetually condemned, as Satan is condemned, but as
Satan is removed, so also will be the venomous poison and threat of the snake,
as Satan s venomous poisons for history have been removed.
The
threat of war, a limited life font, starvation, and many other things, will be
removed from life. With the removal of
mans rule, and with the advent of Christ s rule, the Millennium will see the
most prosperous and productive period, of all of human history.
In
Christ, there is always the promise of blessing, prosperity, and a full long
life. Without Christ, there is nothing.
Now is the time to post a prayer.
End Of Lesson
Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
