You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
Isa. 64:7
7 And there is none that calleth [qara'] upon thy name [shem], that
stirreth up [`uwr] himself to take hold [chazaq] of thee: for thou hast hid [cathar] thy face [paniym] from us,
and hast consumed [muwg] us, because [yad] of our iniquities [`avon]. KJV-Interlinear
7 And there is no one who calls on Thy name, Who arouses
himself to take hold of Thee; For Thou hast hidden Thy face from us, And hast
delivered us into the power of our iniquities. NASB
There
are only two environments in which you can live your life. You can live in the fellowship sphere and
live inside the power of Gods will, or you can live outside of fellowship and
therefore in the carnal sphere of the world, and have your life controlled by
the power of your sin nature.
When
you live your life in fellowship, then God is in control of your life. And more specifically the Holy Spirit is in
control of your life. The Word of God,
which is Christ, is the fuel of that power, and of course, the ultimate
authority and author of the divine plan is from the Father.
When
you choose to live your life out of fellowship, then your sin nature is in
control of your life. The world s
philosophies are the fuel for the carnal sphere. The Jungle laws are the rules, and Satan is
the author of all opinions, which are in opposition of Gods.
All
unbelievers are automatically living in the carnal sphere. The have no relationship with God, and
therefore they have no choice of environments.
Once
a person believes in Christ, then that second environment, fellowship, becomes
available to them. Sin is all that
stands in their way.
Initially
when a person believes in Christ, he is placed immediately in fellowship. But, when a person commits their first sin,
they immediately drop out of fellowship.
Confession, to the Father, is our admission ticket getting us back into
fellowship.
And
so the life of the saved person continues either in, or out of fellowship, and
presumably the believer will fluctuate back and forth in and out of fellowship
as he sins and then confesses, and sins and confesses, and so forth.
Most
folks sin and keep on sinning. They
remain perpetually out of fellowship.
Many folks play the oscillating game and they stumble along in their
spiritual life. A very few folks gain an
understanding of just how this all works, and they pursue their spiritual life
with a vigor. They advance to spiritual
maturity.
When
you are in fellowship, then you are in effect, face to face with God. His will, functions within your life.
When
you choose to live your life out of fellowship, then God has turned his back on
you, allowing you to live within the power of your sins. That is our current verse.
If
you think that the power of this world is greater than that of God, then He
allows you to go for it. God never
forces Himself on anyone.
But
sadly, people living in the carnal sphere always end up in misery. Their life always ends up a disaster. No, don t evaluate people based on what they
have. Possessions are not a reflection of ones spiritual life. A billionaire can live a successful life, in
this life, for the few decades that he is alive, but if he has rejected Christ,
then the Lake of Fire awaits him. His billions won t prevent his eternal
failure.
Likewise,
a billionaire believer can reject his spiritual life, during this life, and
when he dies, he will go to heaven, but he will find that his eternal blessings
package will be far short of his expectations.
It
is far better to be a poor man, these few short years in this life, who is spiritually
mature and end up with phenomenal rich blessings for all of eternity, than to
be rich now and poor in eternity.
Eternity is a far longer period of time, than our life font on this
earth.
Actually,
if you had the best of the best, the absolutely best life a person could have,
would be to advance to spiritual maturity, be extremely wealthy now and then
when you die, to be extremely wealthy in blessings for all of eternity, and to
be a member of the Royal Family, which includes believers in our current
dispensation.
I m
not sure if anyone has ever filled that role.
But, no matter. Our life now, on
this planet, is very short when you look at the big picture. Eternity far exceeds this life by a factor of
infinity. On the big timeline, our life
now is but a blink, if even that.
So,
Isaiah continues to explain that there is no one who can arise up out of the
menstrual waste or ashes of our collective lives, and seize hold of God.
God
has a plan. That plan means Christ
first, fellowship first, doctrine first.
God does all of the work. We are but the recipients of His grace and
effort.
Anyone
who tries to do Gods work is a fool. No
person, no philosophy, no invention or imagination can accomplish that which God
does for us freely.
Once
you understand that you are no more than common red worthless dust. That is what adam means. Once you understand that any and all of your
efforts are no better than a womans monthly discharge, and saving that
discharge does not make it any better.
Then, you will be ready to humble yourself into the greatest possible
life that is available to anyone, ever.
You
are ready to listen. You are ready to
learn. You are ready to grow up
spiritually.
You
can voluntarily place your life in Gods hands, and have a guaranteed great life,
or you can cut God out of your life and pursue your better life, and end up
with a guaranteed worthless life.
Rom. 1:28
28
And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them
over to a depraved mind NASB
Ezek.
33:10
10
Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, 'Thus you have spoken,
saying, Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we are rotting
away in them; how then can we survive? '
NASB
God
always give you the choice of what kind of a life you want. In either case, no person is in charge of his
or her own life. Either God is, or sin
is. Don t be the fool and presume that
there is a third choice.
Now is the time to post a prayer.
End Of Lesson
Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
