You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
Isa. 64:5
5 Thou meetest [paga`] him that
rejoiceth [suws] and worketh [`asah] righteousness [tsedeq],
those that remember [zakar] thee in thy ways [derek]: behold, thou art wroth [qatsaph]; for we have sinned [chata']:
in those is continuance [`owlam], and we shall
be saved [yasha`]. KJV-Interlinear
5 Thou dost meet him who rejoices in doing righteousness, Who
remembers Thee in Thy ways. Behold, Thou wast angry, for we sinned, We
continued in them a long time; And shall we be saved? NASB
God
finds great pleasure in those who abide by His ways. That is, the ways of truth, honesty, righteousness,
His righteousness and not man s righteousness, and certainly His justice.
No
person can have a relationship with God unless they have first passed through
His requirement of justice. We obtain
that credential by believing in Christ.
Justice is the cleansing process whereby all of our sins, all of our
filth are washed away. This Christ accomplished on the Cross.
And
second, no person can have an ongoing and active relationship with God unless
they are in fellowship. This is accomplished by means of confession of ones
sins to the Father, on a regular basis.
And
third, no person can have a maximum relationship with God, unless they advance
to spiritual maturity. This is
accomplished by means of their daily Bible study.
Thus,
God meets the person who rejoices in His righteousness. God does not meet those who pursue their own
righteousness.
When
humanity sinned, when Abraham sinned, when Israel sinned, when you and I
sinned, then God dealt with, and deals with, each one of us in accordance with
His disciplinary policy.
Some
folks respond well and quickly with His discipline, some do not. Some folks need very little correction in
getting their life back in line. Some
folks need quite a bit of Gods attention getting discipline, before they will
get back in line.
If
you have had more than one child, then you probably understand this
principle. No two kids are alike. Some require a very soft touch in
instruction, while others are stubborn, stubborn, stubborn.
Even
though we continue in our carnal life, God has great patience. Even though humanity has lived through well
over a hundred generations now, for many millennia, God has great patience.
If
God did not have any patience, then you and I would have never been born. History would have ended a long time
ago. Could have ended with Noah s
generation.
But
thankfully, we are all here only because of Gods great patience and grace.
Did
God ever give up on us? Do we ever give
up on God?
God
is reliable and keeps His promises.
Though we live in this devils world, and though we should expect a lot
of imperfections in life, do we really understand what life is all about? Do we really understand our role? Do we really understand what the world s role
is? Do we really understand the four
major areas of our problems namely our own thoughts, other people,
bureaucracies, and environmental?
Do
you look at life through your own eyes, or do you look at life through Gods
eyes?
This
last generation in the Tribulation, understands all of these things. They do not look for excuses because of their
predicament. They do not look to blame
anyone for their predicament. They just
know, that despite all of their own flaws, that despite all of the flaws of
humanity, that despite all of the flaws of their own cultural history, that
they are saved, that God will honor all of His promises, and that there is
something better out there in life. They
just have to endure and get through their current situation. You just have to endure and get through your
current situation. God will take care of
that as well.
Now is the time to post a prayer.
End Of Lesson
Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
