Did you ever wonder about the magnitude the real magnitude of the promises that you have or could have from God? Abraham was not moved, did not waver, did not doubt God for even an instant. He did have his failures, but that is common for everyone. Life is tough.

The important thing in life is your ongoing pattern of adherence to the principles and promises of God as they apply to your life.

There will always be times of doubt and worry and anxiety, because the world can be harsh more often than not.

But remember one important thing.

Remember what Jesus said to Thomas after the resurrection, when Thomas had to see before he believed. How much greater are those who do not see and yet believe.

Now, recall all of the Old Testament believers who have at one time or another seen Jesus, when He was manifested before men, or when they had dreams, or visions, or even witnessed phenomenal miracles.

And in our dispensation, now that the Bible has been completed when John finished writing Revelation, and we have none of those things. We do not have dreams. We do not have visions. We do not have any conversations with Jesus or angels or anyone beyond our own realm. We have the words written in the Bible and that is all.

But then God has magnified His word above His name.

And why is that?
