Romans 3:5

http://www.dailybiblestudy.org

5 But [de] if [ei] our [hemon] unrighteousness [adikia] commend [sunistao] the righteousness [dikaiosune] of God [theos], what [tis] shall we say [ereo]? [me] Is God [theos] unrighteous [adikos] who taketh [epiphero] vengeance [orge]? (I speak [lego] as [kata] a man [anthropos])   KJV-Interlinear

5 But if our unrighteousness serves to show the righteousness of God, what shall we say? That God is unrighteous to inflict wrath on us? (I speak in a human way.)   ESV

Pauls statement that he speaks in a human way illustrates human viewpoint, in an attempt to justify ones behavior, and thus condemn Gods judgment.

And so Paul asks the question, is it just for God to judge, when God is perfect? Isn’t that judgment actually a sin that God commits?

This poses a common complaint of many in this world, that no one has the right to judge them.

Especially criminals, in that they do not recognize their wrong as condemnable, nor the right of society or even law, to condemn them.

Even some religions pose their right to do whatever they want in the name of their god. And this is a rehash of the jungle law principles in this world. The strong and the quick are justified, whereas the weak and the slow are just fuel for the fire. And this of course leads society to tyranny and atrocities and worse.

All, of course, was initiated by Satan and the law of evil. He would like nothing better than to see all people dead, to see God fail, and to have his way forever.

And of course this ignores the very basic principle of Gods sovereignty in holding all of creation together based on truth. If God did not exist, then creation would not exist and Satan and all of his opinions would cease to exist as well, along with all of creation.

So, to win you lose. There is nothing to win in evil.

As for criminals, if they were not punished, if there was no legal process to contain criminality, then all of society would disintegrate into anarchy and tyranny and eventually all of society would come to an end.

It is the same of for those who are indifferent toward their spiritual life. There is a containment, called the spiritual growth process, that if it did not exist, then humanity would not have any access to truth and thus chaos would result.

The Tribulation, which will occur at some point in the future, will last only seven years, with humanity and Satan having their way as described. And in those seven years, the entirety of humanity will become nearly extinct.

So, in our sin God is glorified in that He is perfect and righteous and just.

But then, God does not need mans sin in order to be glorified or to prove His righteousness.

Human viewpoint always looks to the excuses of life in order to justify any and all behavior.

Human viewpoint never looks to truth to examine itself and measure itself against the perfect.

This is why there are so many philosophies, so many religions, so many opinions. They all waddle in the fog of confusion and self-justification and self-reason and self-logic.

And, unless you get with a daily study of Bible doctrine, and learn truth, then you will never figure this all out.

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
