11 For [gar] there is [esti] no [ou] respect of persons [prosopolepsia] with [para] God [theos]. KJV-Interlinear
11 For God
shows no partiality. ESV
Unlike people in this world, God does not show favoritism for anyone for any reason. The word for respect, ‘prosopolepsia,’ means partiality or favorites.
And with respect to people, there are only two major categories of people, believers and unbelievers. Each category has its own set of rules with which God deals.
As for unbelievers, the issue is faith in Christ.
As for believers, the issue is obedience to the mandates of God with regard to the development and adherence to, the spiritual life.
God deals with everyone on the same level playing field.
Righteousness and Justice are never compromised. God makes no exceptions for anyone. God does not excuse anyone from the fundamental rules of the spiritual life.
God does not allow anyone to make up their own set of rules.
You are either in compliance with Gods rules or you are not.
And by the way, God decides who is or who is not in compliance, not you.
You have the responsibility to know where you stand, and to find out where you stand, and to learn so that you will know one way or another. God makes it all clear but that has to be learned, which of course depends on you.
So pretending or ignoring what is expected of you, and trying to do your own thing, so to speak, will not help you.
It will not help you get out of punishment. It will not help you get reward.
Sincerity or good intentions, or some argument of yours that you are impressed by, won’t work.
God is fair, God has rules, and God makes them available for knowing.
