You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
Rev. 19:19b
19 And [kai] I saw [eido] the beast [therion], and [kai] the kings [basileus] of the
earth [ge], and [kai] their [autos] armies [strateuma], gathered together [sunago]
to make [poieo] war [polemos] against [meta] him that sat
[kathemai] on [epi] the horse [hippos], and [kai] against [meta] his [autos] army [strateuma]. KJV-Interlinear
19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their
armies, assembled to make war against Him who sat upon the horse, and against
His army. NASB
Just
as it is today, and any day of history for that matter, the popular public
statement of the time is ‘Peace, peace.’ So, it will be in that future time at the end
of the Tribulation. People will still be
saying ‘Peace, peace.’ And, the facts
all indicate that there is no peace.
Only spiritually negative people do not see the truth of life.
Jer.
6:14
14
‘And they have healed the brokenness of My people superficially, Saying,
'Peace, peace,' But there is no peace. NASB
By
the time of the end of the Tribulation, the world will have undergone six years,
plus, of the most horrible historical disasters and troubles that it has ever
experienced in all of human history. Yet
people will use superficial rhetoric to convince each other that peace is
imminent, rather than disaster.
This
is a typical ploy of the news media, which is even supported by the comments of
celebrities, professors, politicians, and anyone else who wants to get their
face in the limelight of publicity. Even
common folks use this tactic in gossip in order to gain the attentions of
people.
Why? Because their comments are arbitrary,
ambiguous, and it is difficult for anyone to come back on them for their random
or malicious comments. When a target is
in view, gossips will use lies in order to get them into trouble. Politicians, news media types, even
celebrities are only interested in getting themselves in the limelight, causing
trouble for those to whom they are directing their criticisms. Their objective? To cause the downfall of their opponents or
their enemies, however you wish to describe them.
No
one seriously thinks that there are any repercussions (to themselves) resulting
from their loose comments. Their objective certainly is intended to bring damage
to their opponents. This is a common
tactic in politics as well as social gossip.
Say anything, do anything in order to defeat your opponent, cause them
harm, or get them out of power.
If
the comments are negative enough, and continue long enough, then the wear and
tear on the general public will bring the desired results. At least, this is what spiritually negative
people think. And, if the general public
becomes spiritually negative, then that is exactly what will occur. Stupid people follow stupid ideas.
Spiritually
negative people say what people want to hear, regardless of the facts. And, when truth is attacked in this way, then
trouble will come along sooner or later and get everyone.
It
is true in our current day, and it will certainly be true in the Tribulation.
For
six years, storms, famine, crime, disasters of nature, mini wars and so forth
will kill off over half of the world’s population.
If
that were all to happen today (assuming that two billion leave at the rapture),
then the four and a half billion people left will die off at a rate of over one
million people per day, every day, for six years (4.5 billion divided two (to
get half of the population), divided by six years, divided by 365 days).
If
you thought that, the disaster of that tsunami of a couple of years ago was
dramatic (where over 200,000 people died), then increase that loss of life by five
times, in a disaster occurring everyday for six years in a row.
And,
if all of this does not happen for another hundred years, and the population
left behind after the Rapture is perhaps fifty billion or more, then you can
see that the loss of life will be beyond staggering. Even ten times greater than the above
calculation with well over ten million people dying everyday.
Wouldn’t
someone begin to wonder whether the world was cursed?
And,
we know that these disasters will not occur on a daily basis, so the loss of
life in fewer disasters, will be staggering.
Yet,
despite all of this, ‘Peace, peace,’ will be the popular cry. This is the strong delusion resulting from
the rejection of truth.
Simple
gossip, simple political rhetoric, simple indifference toward truth, does have
repercussions. For you the individual,
your spiritual life is destroyed, along with your future. For the world, oil research is prevented,
nuclear power research is prevented, crime punishment is softened, terrorist
pursuit is frowned upon, and so on and so forth. The world eventually suffers for all of
these policies.
Masses
of people demonstrate their collective spiritual strength or weakness in
elections, or in objective opinion polls.
When
truth is rejected then public opinions, public policies, public decisions and
actions fail miserably. Spiritually
depleted people pursue whatever is popular, and the media, or whatever the
publicity medium happens to be, determines what is popular. People react or over react to the news of the
day.
‘Peace,
peace.’ That is the popular cry
today. A simple phrase used today for
not wanting to get involved or for avoiding or preventing some activity. But, in the future, this phrase will be used
in a more dramatic fashion as masses of peoples refuse to see the truth, and simultaneously
gather together for the most violent conflict ever.

Now is the time to post a prayer.
End Of Lesson
