You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.

Matt. 24:21-22
21 for then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall. 22 'And unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days shall be cut short. NAS
Daniel foretold the number of years remaining in the history of Israel. In his seventy weeks prophecy the number of years remaining in their history was 490 years. They have used up 483 of those years prior to the Cross and Pentecost in the year of Christ's crucifixion. Then their dispensation was interrupted and our current dispensation, the Church Age or the Age of the Royal Family as we often call it, began. We have been ongoing for approximately 1973 years now, depending on when you begin the count.
This leaves the reminder of our dispensation (an unknown length of time), the last seven years of the Age of Israel, and the Millennium (1000 years of Christ's rule), remaining in human history. Our dispensation will end with the Rapture. That could occur tonight. It could occur around the year 2030, when we have 2000 years in our dispensation. Since the worlds population will just about double by then, that leaves plenty of folks to go into the Tribulation. The Rapture could occur a century from now. We do not really know when it will occur, but we obviously do know that we are closer to it today than at any other time in our past history. Hummm! That's my deep thought of the day.
During the last half of the remaining seven years of the Age of Israel, the world will be in deep turmoil. The last half of the Tribulation, is often given the term, 'Great Tribulation.' Its length is described as three and one-half years, Dan 7:25, 12:7, Rev 12:14, Rev 11:2, 13:5.
The turmoil will be so great that God had to cut short human history in order to preserve human history. Otherwise mans history would have ended right then and there. History for the Age of Israel could have gone on longer, but Satan will be in a panic, and having his mental melt down, trying to destroy everyone, especially all Jews, in the region of Judea. Since you cannot generally walk down the street and identify whether a person is Jewish or not, then Satan tries to kill everyone. Just to be sure.
Our dispensation is one of trends. In it we have examples of how history will culminate. The only difference between our history now and the events of the Tribulation is the degree of frequency and intensity. We have seen turmoil, atrocities and disasters from time to time, throughout the world. In the third world there is a great deal of turmoil and terror. Even in our own country, in the last couple of days, in that power black out in the Northeast, we see that just a simple thunder storm and a lightening strike can shut down power in a huge geographical area. I'm sure we'll hear over the next several weeks, just how the whole area dominoed into darkness, but for now we should see that even in our country huge catastrophes, that no one expects, could occur.
Now, magnify all our troubles of history, and drop them all into a short time frame of three and one-half years. That, coupled with huge crime, gangs, tyranny, indifferent and evil leaders, no one to call for help, no one to turn to for deliverance from your attackers - total chaos and terror and death. And, it is all worldwide. Even mother nature will be against mankind.
Why will all of this come to pass? Because mankind is defiantly negative toward God, and that means mankind rejects God and mankind tries to sail his own course without a clue as to where he is, or where he is going. When truth is rejected, that leaves only lies, and lies are a deception at best. The result is always disaster.
God will leave man to his own devices for seven years at some point in the future, and man will destroy himself almost completely. God again has to step in to save man, and that will be the Second Advent of Jesus Christ.
Now is the time to post a prayer.
