Heb. 13:21

21 Make [katartizo] you [humas] perfect [katartizo] in [en] every [pas] good [agathos] work [ergon] to [eis] do [poieo] his [autos] will [thelema], working [poieo] in [en] you [humin] that which is wellpleasing [euarestos] in his [autos] sight [enopion], through [dia] Jesus [Iesous] Christ [Christos]; to whom [hos] be glory [doxa] for [eis] ever [aion] and ever [aion]. Amen [amen]. KJV-Interlinear

21 equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. NASB

Gods power is the only means of accomplishing anything from His perspective and from our perspective.

We look around and see the world within the framework of our five senses. Our desires, our ideas, our beliefs are shaped generally by what we learn and how we experience life as we grow up.

Some of us will be bitter toward life, some will be apprehensive. Some of us will get through life easily, while others of us will struggle constantly. We all have our point of view as to just what life is all about, or we might wonder, what life is all about.

But Gods objective for each one of us is to equip us in every good thing.

So what does that mean?

God gives us doctrine or truth. God gave us salvation or our reprieve from eternal separation from Him. Since God is truth and life, and the great I Am in the burning bush, then being separated from truth and life and His endless provision is definitely a bad thing.

If separated, then we would not have life, not have truth, and we would not have anything because we are incapable of providing for ourselves in this universe. Even though most folks believe that they are providing for themselves everyday of their life, that in truth, is not even close to what is happening in life.

The events of the cross were probably the greatest demonstration of power and trust, ever. And, man had no part in it. That work was all deity. Just like everything in your life is courtesy of God.

Simply put, you do not provide the air that you breathe, the gravity that keeps your feet on the ground, or the mechanism that keeps your heart beating. You cannot stop and start your own heart at will. You have to rely on a greater power for that.

Likewise, every detail of your life was written down in the decrees in eternity past. God saw all of your thoughts and actions and placed everyone and everything which will be contemporary to you, into your environment. He even provided the history which would have some affect if any, on your thinking.

And all of this was done for each and every individual who will ever live in history. Gods plan is so complex, with so many infinite possibilities, that a trillion super computers could not run even a simple test scenario for human history.

God provided all of this to give you the chance to come to the point of completion (all good things) in your life. That completion is a result of spiritual growth to maturity.

A completed life gives you a phenomenal life now, in this life, and an even greater life with God, in eternity.

And to whom is the credit due for all of this? You, for your positive effort? You for your perseverance through the trials of life? You, because you deserve it?

No. No human being either earns of deserves anything that we have. It is all a gift from God, and Jesus Christ does all of the work, all of the providing.

Oh, the I Am phrase? That is the name of Christ who is the eternally self sufficient one. The infinite provider who has the ability to provide and the infinite resources for making provision. That is what, I Am means.

Who provides the air you breathe, the food you eat, the money you make, the friends you have, who provides for every fiber of your being? Jesus Christ.

Without Christ we are literally nothing. Which, by the way, is what we are called, Adam or worthless useless dust with no significance.

Now is the time to post a prayer.

End Of Lesson

Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
