You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
Heb. 13:20
20 Now [de] the God [theos] of peace [eirene], that
brought again [anago] from [ek] the dead [nekros] our [hemon] Lord [kurios] Jesus [Iesous], that great [megas]
shepherd [poimen] of the sheep [probaton], through [en] the blood [haima] of the everlasting [aionios]
covenant [diatheke], KJV-Interlinear
20 Now the
God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep
through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, NASB
The ultimate power to
accomplish anything in life must come from God.
He is the source and the substance of all power.
We cannot accomplish
anything from our own power, nor can we discover our way through life by means
of our own knowledge and will. We need
to know Gods will and we need His power.
When Christ went to the
Cross, He was and is both God and man.
As God He has all of the attributes of God. As a man, He has all of the attributes of a
human being, including a physical body, soul and spirit.
As our sacrifice, God the
Father blasted Him apart sending His body into the grave, His soul into Paradise, and His spirit to heaven. Three days later, the Father together with
the Holy Spirit brought Christ back together as the very first resurrected
person in history. He became the first
of the first fruits, the first of the harvest of saved persons. Whose pattern of resurrection we all who have
believed in Christ, will follow.
God is the God of
peace. Peace is not, repeat, not simply inner
contentment, serenity, peace of mind, because inner contentment requires a
capacity to enjoy a life free from the mental or physical pressures of life.
That capacity comes from
only one source Bible doctrine resident inside of ones soul. And Bible doctrine can get into the soul only
one way through a consistent daily study of the Word of God while resident
inside of the fellowship sphere (or power) of God.
The reality of life is
this. God provides truth Bible
doctrine. God provides the means of
learning that truth the Holy Spirit.
God provides the mechanism for understanding truth the human spirit.
2 Cor. 3:5
5 Not that we are adequate
in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is
from God, NASB
God is the source and power
and method of our learning truth. Apart
from God it is impossible to come to the knowledge of truth, any kind of truth,
in life.
God was the source and
power and method of judging Christ and the raising Him up in resurrection, thus
defeating death (separation from life) and its strangle hold over all of
creation. God is life.
God gave all of creation
one true shepherd. The only shepherd
over all of creation. In this universe
there is none other.
God gave all of creation a
contract, a covenant, a will for inheritance of eternal life, not death. That contract was executed by Jesus Christ,
and no other.
God gave all of creation,
light. A light with which to see the
real from the false.
Without light, man is free
floating in total darkness. Not knowing
what is up or down, left or right, without any point of reference, man will
inevitably invent his own reality which will be false. Man cannot make his own future nor does he
have the power or the wherewithal to sustain any environment (much less a
universe) apart from God.
There is only one means of
access to God and that is through Jesus Christ.
There is only one means of understanding and that is through the
scriptures. There is only one means of
peace and that is through a completed spiritual life. Anything else is a total waste of time.
Now is the time to post a prayer.
End Of Lesson
Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
