You must be in fellowship prior to your Bible study, so that the spiritual information you receive can become a source, of blessing to your soul and produce spiritual growth.
Heb. 12:6
6 For [gar] whom [hos] the Lord [kurios] loveth [agapao] he chasteneth [paideuo],
and [de] scourgeth [mastigoo] every [pas] son [huios] whom [hos] he receiveth [paradechomai]. KJV-Interlinear
6 For those
whom the Lord loves He disciplines, And He scourges every son whom He receives. NASB
Discipline punishes,
corrects, teaches. For those who
understand this principle of life, then the Lords actions are never against us,
but intended to be for us. And, the
actions of this world can all be taken in proper perspective.
Psa. 42:11
11 Why are you in despair,
O my soul? And why have you become
disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I
shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance, and my God. NASB
Eph. 3:17
17 so that Christ may dwell
in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, NASB
Don t regard lightly, the
actions of life in your life, but take everything into consideration and
learn. Our lives are not bound by the
world. We might live here in this world,
but, for the believer in fellowship and advancing toward spiritual maturity,
his life is always in Gods hands and under Gods complete control.
So, our circumstances of
life, no matter what they might be, should not be considered as final, nor
should they be considered to be hopeless.
God has power over every aspect of our life, and control over every bit
of our life.
You can commit your life to
the jungle, to the worldliness of this life and you ll get nothing from
it. The world has no power, no plan, no
reason to care about you. Or, you can
commit your life to God and then set back (in a more relaxed state of mind) and
be confident that God will do what is best for your life, especially your
spiritual life.
Remember that this life
here on this planet is not intended to be a permanent one. We are here to grow up spiritually and
prepare for the next life, which will last for all of eternity. That is a much longer time than you will ever
have here in this world, even if you lived to be a hundred.
More than anything, God
wants us to be righteous (salvation), mature (wise), obedient (compliant with
His mandates), competent (capacity for life through knowledge of doctrine), responsible
(fulfilling ones spiritual obligations), capable (dependent on the power of the
Holy Spirit), and trusting (faith).
God honors faith. The power of faith does not originate from
you, but from the doctrine in your soul.
God is the source and support of all faith. Reject God and you ll have nothing of value
in life. Investing in nothing will earn
you nothing.
Honor God by means of
obedience to His will for your life and you will have a life experience that goes
beyond words. Learn from life s
difficulties and persevere in your spiritual growth. Understand that the circumstances of your
life do not control your life, but God controls your life if you comply with
His will.
Now is the time to post a prayer.
End Of Lesson
Study to show thyself approved (mature) unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (studying/discerning), the Word of truth.
